Description
This course provides a comprehensive introduction to the fundamental concepts, principles, and practices of cybersecurity. Students will explore the importance of protecting information systems, networks, and data from cyber threats. Topics include security objectives, types of cyberattacks, threat actors, risk management, cryptography, network security, ethical and legal considerations, and best practices in personal and organizational security. Prerequisites: COMP 3324. You must have earned 60 credit hours before registering for this course.
