Description
This course introduces the application of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) techniques in the field of cybersecurity. Students will explore how AI can enhance threat detection, automate incident response, and strengthen defense mechanisms against evolving cyberattacks. Topics include anomaly detection, malware classification, intrusion detection systems, deep learning models for cybersecurity, and the ethical use of AI in security operations. Prerequisites: COMP 3324. You must have earned 60 credit hours before registering for this course.
